PACKAGING.

  1. Shipper is to provide the packaging material e.g. boxes and bubble wraps for their good or pay to get it done for you.
  2. Fragile items are to be well packaged before shipping.
  3. Boxed items will be bill based on the volumetric measurement of the box, the scale weight will be used if it is higher than the volumetric weight.
  4. Shipper must provide Ziploc bags for packaging and labelling of food items to facilitate custom process.
  5. The shipper shall declare the purchase value per item to be shipped. Our transit insurance only covers the value of goods/shipment/parcel up to N30,000, to extend insurance cover on the shipment if it exceeds N30,000, 1% of the value has to be paid.
  6. Boxed items will be billed based on the volumetric measurement of the box; the scale weight will be used if it is higher than the volumetric weight.
  7. Shippers sending a 3rd party to drop shipment off shall book the shipment(s) on the booking portal at the home page of this website and follow the drop off instructions.
  8. Delivery to private universities and delivered at the university gate. Abuad (AFE_BABALOLA UNIVERSITY EKITI) does not allow delivery of non-educational material in the school, items sent to this school will have to be collected at the Dhl center at Ekiti.
  9. All international/Other African Countires Shipments are subjected to Custom clearance which are paid by recipient
CUSTOMS TAX/DUTIES

EVERY COUNTRY HAS CUSTOMS PROCEDURES AND MAY SOMETIMES CHARGE THE IMPORTER (RECEIVER) FOR IMPORT DUTIES AND CUSTOM CLEARANCE PROCESS MAY DELAY THE DURATION OF THE SHIPMENT DELIVERY IF IT EXCEEDS MORE THAN 24 HOURS IN CUSTOMS. THIS TAX/DUTIES IS EXCLUDED FROM THE SHIPPING FEE AND NOT CHARGED BY THE SHIPPING COMPANY BUT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RECEIVERS COUNTRY. N/B: SHIPPER MUST DECLARE THE VALUE (COST) OF THE SHIPMENT.
NB: TRANSAIL is not to be blamed for any delay, back and forth that may occur if delivery of receiver’s details fails to meet the above address requirements.

INTERSTATE SHIPPING RATES

  1. 1. STANDARD DELIVERY (TO ALL STATES IN NIGERIA).

DURATION:  4 – 5 business days after the drop-off day weekend and public holidays not included.

COST: ₦7,000

WEIGHT: under 0 – 2KG

₦2,050 for every additional 0.5kg

The package must be dropped off at our office and paid for or before 4:00 pm to be able to ship that day. (TRACKABLE).

  1. ECONOMY DELIVERY (To  LAGOS, ABUJA, PORT HARCOURT, AND (ENUGU CITY COMING SOON).

DURATION:  4 – 5 business days after the drop-off day weekend and public holidays not included.

COST: N4,500        

WEIGHT: Under 0 – 2KG

₦500 for every additional 0.5kg
(Does not cover everywhere in Lagos , Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Enugu city. Some areas may attract extra cost and areas cannot be delivered to).

The package must be dropped off at our office and paid for or before 4:00 pm to be able to ship that day. (NOT TRACKABLE).

  1. NEXT-DAY DELIVERY/COLLECTION(To and From LAGOS and ABUJA ONLY).

At ₦2,000 (Terminal collection from 2pm Next day).

At ₦6,000 (Doorstep delivery between 9am and 6:30pm).
(Does not cover everywhere in Lagos or Abuja, some areas may attract extra cost and areas cannot be delivered to).

WEIGHT: under 0 – 2KG

₦800 for every additional 0.5kg

The package must be dropped off at our office and paid for before 3:00 pm to be able to ship that day. (NOT TRACKABLE).

DROP OFF
You have to come to the office or send your dispatch (you have to book your shipment ahead of the dispatch arrival.

LOCATION WITH EXTRA CHARGE THAT THE N4,500 and N6,000 DOORSTEP RATE DOES NOT COVER DUE TO THEIR DISTANCE.
